About Focused Film
Focused Film was started by Nigel Mills in 2009, seeing that with the advances in technology, the production values of feature films and television could be brought to videos playing on YouTube.
High definition cameras, 3D animation and ariel photography are all now viable techniques to help companies promote their products and services.
Focused Film aim to make the highest production values not just affordable, but easy and enjoyable.
NIGEL MILLS – PRODUCER
I founded Focused Film six years ago after seeing that with the advances in technology, high end production could be achieved on a very limited budget.
My career started as a recording engineer at Island Records, recording and mixing live music videos, then moving into TV, working on documentaries, current affairs and high end corporate productions. My passion for movies led me to work as a Sound Designer on over 40 feature films including, Gosford Park, Wimbledon and Tomb Raider.
With Focused Film I have the satisfaction of taking the projects from idea to delivery, using the skills I have gained in the past and picking up many new ones on the way.
I am a member of BAFTA, the Association of Motion Picture Sound and the Institute of Videography.
RICHARD FRAUDENFELD – ANIMATOR
Twenty years motion design and CGI animation experience. Richard started life as a design engineer for Medical devices and applications, but was eventually seduced by the 3D CAD software, often being asked to produce product animations. Combining those skills with my Graphic design degree I eventually decided to go deeper….the rest is history.
